So I have to give props to Aleteia.org for unearthing this prayer. Now that this props has been covered...
St. Joseph is a powerful saint and I suggest you all include him in your spirituality. God had gave two of his most precious treasures to the earth: The Blessed Mother, and Our Blessed Lord Jesus. He entrusted them to the care and protection of St. Joseph. That by itself tells us a lot about the quality of St. Joseph's holiness and virtue. God clearly thought very highly of him as a good and holy man, devoted to God with a passionate love for God that could only be rivaled by the passion with which Our Lady loved God.
St. Joseph is a true man. If you want to be a true man yourself (assuming you, dear reader, are a man), "ite ad Joseph" ("Go to Joseph"). Include him in your prayer life. Invoke him. Pray to him. Start with this prayer below
O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires.
O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.
O St. Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him close in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me. Amen.
