Substack is not replacing my website. It’s like “Catholic Adventurer Plus”
Think of Substack as a ‘Catholic Adventurer, PLUS’ where I spread my wings a little and write or podcast about a broader range of topics and subjects than what I usually cover on my website and public podcast.
There’s already a ton of stuff there, dating back to the earliest days of my apostolate, including my new content. So check it out some time.
In my latest episode I explored a compelling topic: Joseph Ratzinger—the future Pope Benedict XVI— prophetic forecast about the future of the Catholic Church. That future is right now. So what are my projections for ourfuture Church?

I can’t recall if I sent this first one to you last week, so I’m sharing it. I may have written it after I sent out the last newsletter. So here it is…again(?) Also, in keeping with the theme of Benedict predicting the future, I’m sharing a second essay, from the past! At least one of these will be new to you!

We see family as a collective of people who are related by blood or law. But family isn’t only about relationships. From God's perspective, family is about much more than that.
Thank you all for subscribing to my newsletter. I tried to change things up with this one. Lately I’ve been “breaking out” of my old paradigm of creating for an audience, and just creating from my heart. Creating for an audience is a good principal when you’re doing the business of media, but it’s stifling outside of that. You may notice my writing and podcasting reflecting that “shift” lately, especially on Substack. I think you’ll enjoy the renewal, whether on Substack or my website and public feed. Nothing crazy, nothing racey but it’s outside of the box of what I’ve been doing over the past 2 years.
I do hope you will subscribe to my Substack because what you get from my website and podcast is a limitation of everything I have to offer to others, which is best represented on my Substack. God bless and be with you all.
